Last week I made the decision to stop using Facebook. It was negatively affecting my mental health. So far, its been surprisingly easy. I have caught myself searching for the app, I’ve certainly been tempted, but I’ve managed to keep myself away from it.
One thing I noticed during the week was how frequently I would have been checking Facebook during the day, how embedded in my daily routines it was. WOW, just wow.
I’m keeping a log of every day I don’t log-in to Facebook, in an effort to “not break the chain”.
So far I’ve not seen much of a change in myself, but I don’t feel like I’ve lost anything either.
