“I want to see the sunshine after the rain
I want to see bluebirds flying over the mountains again”
Berri 1994 (alternatively Elkie Brooks 1997)
As the not so late, not quite a great singer Berri once sang. I want to see the sunshine after the rain. Well, it’s not always that way around. Sometimes you expect the rain after the sunshine. For example, yesterday was a good day. Which means, as those of you with poor mental health understand, I didn’t hold out much hope for today is another good day. It’s hard to break the habit of expecting doom when something good happens. But I’m getting better at it.
Anyway, for the last couple of weeks, I’ve been preparing for something big at work and yesterday we got the go ahead. It was a big victory as its been something we should have been looking at for some time. Preparing has eaten up most of my free-time, so I’ve got a backlog of recipe backlogs to write up. I would like to feel bad about that, but for once I’m ok with it, I can only do what I can do.
So expect my low carb recipie lemon and garlic chicken and an update on my low carb chilli fairly shortly.
Toodles, yall!
